M-Tac has released the Elite Combat Medic Backpack, a benchmark in tactical medic gear designed to serve as a fully functional mobile stabilization station.
The exterior features two administrative compartments. The lower compartment includes a MOLLE panel for attaching extra gear, while the upper compartment houses an integrated pouch designed to securely hold medical gloves—ideal for storing up to six pairs.
At the top front, there’s a built-in holder for medical scissors, crafted from innovative Hypalon material with Murdock straps. The holder fastens with a buckle made by Korean manufacturer Woojin. Both the top and bottom front sections of the backpack have reinforced eyelets, perfect for securing safety cords or paracord for additional attachments.
On each side, you’ll find four integrated elastic pouches designed to hold C-A-T style tourniquets. The upper pouches also feature elastic loops for markers. Additional handles on the sides allow for comfortable horizontal carrying.
The main compartment opens like a suitcase, providing ample space for essential gear. Inside, there are three transparent and two mesh pockets, specifically designed to fit the “MARCH” system, based on the TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) concept. Each pocket has a Velcro panel for attaching stage markers of the care algorithm.
Below the upper mesh pocket are two elastic loops for markers. The base of the backpack is made from Velcro fabric, allowing transparent pockets to be removed if needed. A special strap on the main compartment flap enables quick access; when closed, placing this strap between the zipper sliders locks the backpack from fully closing.
Around the main compartment perimeter are holders for reinforced tape, bandages, tourniquets, and more. Side attachments are made from elastic bands, while bottom ones are straps connected by buttons from the Japanese brand YKK.
The interior pocket is made from Velcro fabric, allowing for modular inserts to be attached as needed. It also includes a removable organizer for ampoules and medical equipment.
The organizer’s exterior is crafted from durable Oxford fabric, while the interior uses Velcro. Additional reinforcement comes from a combination of Milliken®’s Tegris thermoplastic composite and 4mm EVA foam, providing strength and shock absorption.
Modular ampoule inserts are made from Tegris composite and elastic bands, with Velcro backing for customizable placement.
Equipment pockets are constructed from innovative Hypalon material and elastic bands finished with Woojin fasteners. The organizer’s center features a small pouch for alcohol wipes, catheter dressings, and similar items, attached with Velcro.
Side straps with gatekeepers prevent full opening of the interior pocket when closed. The back panel includes a mesh compartment with a zipper, designed to hold immobilization splints.
Shoulder straps feature fastener straps for chest attachment, while the waist area includes a similar system to better distribute load. At the bottom is a MOLLE-attached pouch for a thermal blanket or stretcher.
The Elite Combat Medic Backpack is made from a combination of Cordura Squadron and Cordura 500D — extremely durable, wear-resistant, and easy-to-maintain materials. The base is reinforced with Cordura 1000D.
