Bottles & thermoses

Water bottles, thermoses, insulated mugs and collapsible bottles for everyday carry, hiking and duty. Stainless steel thermoses hold temperature for hours, compact M-Tac insulated mugs fit a backpack side pocket, and classic military canteens with covers attach to a belt or MOLLE system.

When choosing, look at volume and weight: 0.5–1 l covers a day hike; go bigger or pair with a thermos for longer routes.

Which bottle should I choose for hiking?

For a day hike a compact bottle that clips to your belt or pack is enough. For longer routes choose a larger bottle or pair it with a thermos. Keep an eye on weight – an empty bottle should not weigh your load down.

What is the difference between a thermos and an insulated mug?

A thermos is built to hold temperature for hours, so it suits you when you want hot tea later in the day. An insulated mug is more for drinking right away and fits a backpack side pocket. Choose based on whether keeping heat or easy drinking on the move matters more to you.

Is a classic military canteen practical for everyday use?

A military canteen with a cover attaches to a belt or MOLLE system, so your hands stay free. Stainless steel or durable plastic handles heavy use in the field. If you want a simple, rugged option, this canteen works for both hiking and duty.
