The range holds Katadyn Micropur Classic and Micropur Forte tablets in different pack sizes and for different trip lengths.
Classic works with silver: it does not kill every organism, but it keeps already clean water from going off – it is for storage of up to a few months. Forte also contains chlorine, so it disinfects water of doubtful quality first and preserves it afterwards.
The contact time is on the pack and depends on water temperature and cloudiness – cold or cloudy water needs longer. Strain cloudy water first.
