Sleeping pads aren't just for a softer surface to lie on, but also for keeping your body separated from cold or uneven ground. In this category, it's not just thickness that matters, but how well the pad insulates, how much space it takes packed up, and whether it suits the type of trip you're planning.
When choosing, it's worth evaluating thickness, insulation, packed size, weight, and whether your priority is a longer trek with a backpack or more comfortable rest at camp. For some, a lighter, smaller model matters most, for others more comfort while sleeping on a harder surface.
TacticalShop.lt clearly separates this category from sleeping bags. A sleeping pad primarily addresses ground contact, heat loss from below, and a more stable surface for sleeping outdoors.
