Pots & cookware

Camping pots, mess kits and cookware sets for cooking in the field. Individual kits pack a pot, pan and lid into one nested set, and a gas burner with a pot lets you boil water fast on the trail. Everything nests together and takes minimal space in your pack.

Which mess kit should I choose for hiking?

For one person a small pot for boiling water or cooking a simple meal is enough. For a group, choose a larger pot so there is food for everyone. It matters that the kit is light and compact, since you will carry it in your pack.

Why is an individual cookware set useful?

An individual set packs a pot, pan and lid into one kit, so you do not have to pick each piece separately. All parts nest together and take up minimal space. This set suits you when you want everything for cooking in one place.

Can pots be used with any stove?

Most camping pots and mess kits are made for gas burners, and some also work over an open fire. Compact sets are often sold together with a burner so everything matches. Before buying, check that the pot base and the stove are compatible.
