A self-inflating sleeping mat, 180 × 70 cm, 3 cm thick. Open the valve — the foam expands and draws in air on its own.
Side snaps let you connect it to another identical mat, so two people get one level surface.
A self-inflating mat — a compromise between the reliability of foam and the comfort of an inflatable. Inside is polyester foam: open the valve and it expands and draws in air without you blowing into it.
The difference between 1 cm and 3 cm shows up not in softness but in warmth — a thicker air layer insulates better from cold ground. On frozen ground that's the difference between sleeping and not.
Side snaps let you join several mats into one surface. In practice, that means with two people in a tent, no one slides into the gap between mats at night.
