Helikon-Tex glow stick – bright light with no batteries or electronics.
A single-use chemical light starts glowing once you bend the plastic tube and crack the inner glass capsule. It glows brightly for about 7 hours, useful for hikes and emergencies.
The Helikon-Tex chemical glow stick provides light without electricity or batteries — for hiking, camping, emergencies and signaling in the dark.
The stick is made from a plastic container holding two isolated liquids, one of them inside a glass capsule. To activate it, bend the plastic tube until the glass capsule breaks and the liquids mix; the stick then glows brightly for about 7 hours.
Activate the stick only once — don't overbend or cut the plastic tube. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat, sealed in its foil pouch until you're ready to use it.
Dispose of after use according to local waste regulations. Do not store in heat or direct sunlight.
