A ballistic groin protection module for ballistic inserts (Gen.II). The manufacturer states that it is designed to increase the user's fragmentation protection area. Only the cover is included – no ballistic inserts.
Construction
The module consists of a central panel and two articulated side panels which, according to the manufacturer, allow free movement when running, squatting or walking. The side panels have a laser-cut (Laser Cut) MOLLE system for additional gear. The main mounting section is made of Cordura 500D, reinforced with Tegris thermoplastic composite between two fabric layers.
Attachment
The module attaches to a tactical belt with side mounts, and the longer straps are threaded through the MOLLE system of the belt and the module. At the bottom, a strap with a WOOJIN Grip Toggle buckle secures the lower part to the belt, so the MOLLE field remains usable. All three parts (sides and bottom) have a quick-release system with buckles from the Italian company DUE EMME (2M).
