M-Tac Battle Fleece Polartec

Fleece jacket based on Polartec® High Loft (237 g/m², 100% polyester); the manufacturer classes it among Level 3 (third layer) items of the ECWCS layered clothing system.

Material and inserts

The manufacturer states that Polartec® High Loft feels pleasant against the body and protects against wind and cold. The elbow inserts, the outside of the collar and the inside of the pockets are made of windproof fabric (98% nylon, 2% elastane), which, according to the manufacturer, is water-, wind- and abrasion-resistant.

Pockets and finish

Two side pockets. The Velcro panels on the sleeves and front are for patches and ID insignia. The sleeve cuffs with branded elastic keep cold air out. The anatomical cut does not restrict movement.
