M-Tac Folding Knife Type 12 Scandinavian Stonewash

Lightweight folding knife for everyday carry (EDC) with a D2 steel blade and a handle decor inspired by Scandinavian motifs.

D2 steel and stonewash finish

The blade is made of D2 steel – an alloy with carbon, manganese, silicon, chromium and molybdenum. According to the manufacturer, it is characterized by high hardness, good corrosion resistance and edge retention. The blade has a stonewash finish: the surface is matte, reflects less light and, according to the manufacturer, helps hide signs of wear.

G10 handle and locking

The handle is made of G10 – a composite of glass fiber and epoxy resin which, according to the manufacturer, is durable, lightweight and resistant to impact and abrasion. The decor motifs are the North Sea, a legendary longship and the “Helm of Awe” rune. The open blade is held by a steel plate in the handle (Liner Lock); the handle has a pocket clip.
