Folding knife Type 18 with a 8.9 cm D2 steel blade and a G10 handle. The open blade is locked with a Liner Lock type lock.
On the inner side of the handle – a clip for attaching the knife. Blade thickness 3 mm, handle length 11.1 cm. Color: Olive.
M-Tac Folding Knife Type 18 – a folding knife that the manufacturer assigns to the EDC (everyday carry) kit. The blade is 8.9 cm long and made of D2 steel.
Blade and handle
D2 steel contains carbon, manganese, silicon, chromium and molybdenum; according to the manufacturer, this combination gives the blade hardness, corrosion resistance and long-lasting sharpness. The handle is made of G10 – a composite based on fiberglass impregnated with epoxy resin and compressed under high pressure and temperature; the manufacturer states its strength, light weight and wear resistance.
Lock and clip
The open blade is locked by a plate that is part of the handle – this is a Liner Lock. On the inner side of the handle there is a clip for attaching the knife.
