M-Tac Norman Windblock Fleece Jacket

Fleece jacket made of 100% polyester with a WindBlock membrane and softshell inserts; the WindBlock fabric is 295 g/m². In cool weather it can be worn as an outer layer, in cold weather – as an insulating layer under a jacket or parka.

WindBlock membrane

According to the manufacturer, the mesh structure of the WindBlock membrane is designed for low temperatures: 80% of body heat is reflected back inside, and only 20% passes through the membrane. The manufacturer states that the membrane does not use polyurethane spraying – it is protected from the inside and outside by a dense layer of polyester fibers (pile), which shields the membrane from friction and creates an additional warming air layer.
