This belt is a copy of the belt that was part of the American BSS (Belt Shoulder System), known as A.L.I.C.E. (All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment), adopted by the US military in the early 1980s.
The belt is made from 100% polyester and can also serve as a plain belt even without any pouches attached. Just remember this belt is somewhat wider than ordinary trouser belts (5.5 cm), so check your trouser belt-loop size before buying.
Wipe with a damp cloth; hand wash if needed. Dry naturally.
