An open double pouch for AKM and AK-74 magazines, made of Cordura 1000D and non-slip rubberized Vinyl fabric.
Holding the magazines
According to the manufacturer, a special non-slip rubberized Vinyl fabric insert holds the magazines in place. According to the manufacturer, little effort is needed to pull out a magazine, because the grip surface stays exposed while the magazine is in the pouch. The manufacturer deliberately did not use side plastic inserts, because plastic often cracks at low temperatures. The pouch attaches with the MOLLE system.
