The M-Tac Paracord 550 (Type III) is a versatile, reliable parachute cord meeting military specification MIL-C-5040H. Made from 100% nylon with a tough outer sheath and a strong inner core — exceptionally reliable yet light and compact.

Paracord has its roots in parachute suspension lines and, thanks to being light, flexible and strong, has become indispensable to military and civilians alike. The inner core consists of separate strands you can pull out and use as thinner thread.
