M-Tac Pouch for Tourniquet Closed Flap

M-Tac Pouch for Tourniquet Closed Flap – a closed pouch for a tourniquet made of Cordura Squadron. The main difference from earlier models is that the pouch is closed; according to the manufacturer, this protects the contents from dirt and dust.

Opening

On the front there is a webbing loop: pulling it sharply opens the pouch quickly. The opening of the bottom is adjusted by a special retainer. In the closed position it is attached to the hook-and-loop panel, so the bottom does not open fully and the tourniquet can only be taken out from the top; once the retainer is unfastened and tucked inside, the bottom opens fully.

Front and attachment

On the front there is a hook-and-loop panel with a “cross” symbol that helps identify the first-aid item; it also fits patches of a similar size, for example with a blood type. At the back there are two flaps with hook-and-loop panels with which the pouch can be attached to the bottom, right or left side of a plate carrier vest.
