Mil-Tec Tent Pegs 18 cm - 10 pcs

Pegs are the part of a tent you do not think about until the wind picks up. These are 18 cm, galvanised steel, ten to a pack.

Pressed steel means you can drive a peg with a stone, the heel of a spade or whatever is at hand — it does not bend like aluminium and does not rust like plain steel. Each one has a hole for the guy line and ends in a sharp tip, so it goes into harder ground too.

When 18 cm is the right length

This is the all-round length: long enough for meadow and soft sand, short enough not to take up room or weight. For very soft ground or strong wind it is worth carrying longer ones — 21 or 30 cm — but as a base set these suit most tents.

Care

Brush off the soil and let them dry before packing. Zinc keeps the rust off, but only while the coating is not worn through to bare metal.
