The main compartment is split by a padded divider, and each side has two hook-and-loop straps and insertable pockets — they lock the weapon in place so it doesn't shift in transit. That matters more than it sounds: most damage comes not from impact but from rubbing during travel.
Detachable, adjustable shoulder straps plus a chest strap; when not in use they tuck into a rear pocket, so they don't snag in the car. Two top handles with hook-and-loop closures let you carry it like a bag.
