Mil-Tec is the trademark of the German company Sturm Handels GmbH, founded in 1971 in Rottenburg am Neckar. The business began with graded military surplus — genuine army kit prepared for civilian use. When authentic surplus became harder to source consistently, Mil-Tec was launched in 1995: the same military logic, now designed in-house and built to military specifications.

Why Mil-Tec stays in our catalogue

This is a brand for people who need a working object, not a badge. A Mil-Tec tent, sleeping bag or survival kit costs what it costs so you can buy it before your first training weekend, not after five years of service. Quality here is measured by whether the thing survives a season outdoors, not by prestige.
